Shadows of the Mind...
This came about as I needed to practice layering with acrylics.
I guess you've all heard of automatic writing?
Well, a while ago I read a piece on automatic drawing. In a nutshell you just allow your pencil to wander over the canvas and when you've done enough scribbling you pick out shapes from the mass of lines and discard.. (paint over).. any you don't plan to use for your chosen shapes.
I may do a series of these.. lol.. who knows?..
"Shadows of the Mind" seemed an apt title..
Anyway, here's the WIP for the first.. doubtless it will change a bit before completion so I'll add updates as and when..:-)
