This type of card is a printed reproduction, but there is a pre-defined limit as to how many of each card will ever be printed and sold.

 

Limited edition cards are more valuable than open editions, because there are only a stated number of each card available in the World.  The smaller the edition, the more valuable they can become.
 
All Limited Edition Cards on this site are signed and numbered on the reverse.
