| Lay-Away.. What is Lay-Away? Lay-Away is an option that offers our customers the opportunity to reserve an Original Painting, or Limited Edition Print, and pay for it by interest free monthly payments over a period not exceeding twelve months. How Does Lay Away Work? First, a customer selects an artwork, that they wish to purchase, and contacts ourselves to make the necessary Lay-Away arrangements. We then send the customer an Email Invoice, payable through Google Checkout, for the 10% deposit, (ten percent deposit), required to secure the item. This invoice will also include a one time documentation fee of $10.00. Once this initial invoice has been paid, we will mark the item as sold on all our sites. As it's removal from sale prevents other potentially interested parties from buying the item, both the 10% deposit and the $10.00 documentation fee will be non-refundable. The customer will then be sent an invoice, for the agreed amount, each following month until the remaining balance has been paid. Once the full amount has been paid, the customer will be invoiced for the shipping and insurance costs current at that date. The figure on this invoice will represent no more than what it will actually cost us to ship and insure the item. When this final invoice has been settled, the item will be shipped on the next working day and the customer will be sent all tracking and insurance details by Email. Regardless of prior arrangements, the customer has the option to pay off the remaining balance at any time during the agreed Lay-Away period. In this event the customer should contact ourselves and we will issue a final invoice for the remaining balance, plus shipping and insurance at cost. The item will be shipped as soon as this invoice is paid. If, for any reason, the customer runs into difficulties with the payments, they may cancel the order and receive a refund of any payments made in excess of the non-refundable 10% deposit and $10.00 documentation fee. Alternatively, if the difficulty is of a temporary nature, we may, at our discretion, allow a break in payments for a maximum of three months. A Lay-Away Example..
