       'Terry Waites'

I am a 52 year old self-taught artist based in Hertfordshire England. I really only began painting again about 3 years ago, inspired by my 3 sons, my daughter, my wife and membership of various art groups.

I have this year exhibited in the Independent Artists Group exhibition in Nottingham, England and forthcoming exhibitions include a 3 person exhibition with Natalie Mason and Ginger Lovelette (both members of Artwanted) at the end of February in Sheffield and a private exhibition in Chicago also in February.

My inspiration for my paintings comes from my love of the sea and sky, ever changing pieces of nature. Although I didn't paint for many years I can never envisage not painting now, it has become a never ending experience.
